Gaming Life

So Monday was an okay day.  I’m finding myself getting a little bored with WoW, although I did spend several hours with a friend doing Arenas.  Those were fun, especially since I was in complete PvE gear.  I am really bad at any type of PvP, so it was a nice change of pace from the raiding/farming/pet battles I seem to do all the time.  I might go back to playing Simcity, or Sims 3 for a while, just to break up the monotony.

The Weight of the Nation

When this four-part mini-series played on HBO a couple years ago, I recorded it because I wanted to use it as inspiration.  I had watched it when I first recorded it, and then never watched it again until yesterday.  It has some interesting information, some things I want to try and write out here, just because it’s information I think it’s worth knowing.

Some things make complete sense, like a calorie is a calorie, and fruit juices have almost the same if not more sugar than sodas, and are not nearly as healthy as they are made out to be.  I think I’m going to re-watch each part, and maybe write out some of the highlights I find interesting.

My Parent’s 30th Wedding Anniversary

June 25th is my parents anniversary, and I’m making them dinner!!  I’ll post pictures and details tomorrow, I’m really excited to share what I made them!!  It’s not quite diet friendly, and I’ll be honest when I say I did not count the calories the way I should have, but it’s a special occasion, and I really wanted to make sure my parents would enjoy it!
